In May 2017 Roy Ackerman, founder of the National Restaurateurs’ Dinner, passed away. In tribute, it was felt fitting that this years’ Dinner should be dedicated to Roy as a celebration of his life and the contribution he made to our industry. The ultimate “Bon Viveur” with his love of Food, Wine, Music and Art, Roy was an inspiration to all and as a founding member of the organisations responsible for the Dinner, his legacy will continue to inspire future generations.

Investing in the hospitality industry

Last year’s event, was a huge success, selling out and raising over £50,000 on the night from the auction and raffle ticket sales.

This year, with your help and generosity, we can do even better. Click here for details of the organisations.

Find out how vital funds raised help maintain the profile and esteem of the industry, both front and back of house, through training and educational programmes in the short video below:

Besides the fund raising aspect of the evening; the Dinner is a great occasion providing a superb opportunity for the industry to come together have fun meet new and old friends whilst providing support for young people in the industry.
